Late last week, I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down and chat with Maya Reynolds, bestselling author of “Bad Girl”, and with a new recent release of “Bad Boy”.
Maya is a wonderful lady and we spoke about her past careers (all high-pressure, high-adrenalin) and how it related to the mostly solitary occupation of a writer. We also spoke about Texas, priorities and what she’s working on.
Please go to Radio Free Bliss to have a listen to the interview. And Maya’s always informative blog can be found here.
Thanks for the chat, Maya! I had a great time and hope you did too.

What a great interview!! Now, I’m really nervous. LOL.

The oceans are still too wide. I used to have a huge plant of epazote. With all my moves, I finally had to donate to someone who could use it.
I enjoyed the interview, and could relate to so much of what she said, particularly the part about getting an agent. For me, having an agent of such caliber offer to represent me, hearing her enthusiasm for my writing, was the biggest validation of my work to date.
Maya’s blog is on my must-read list. It’s one of the ways I keep abreast of what’s happening in the industry, and her viewpoints are always interesting – even when I don’t share them.
And jicama, M. I miss jicama too!
Completely agree, Liane. Hopefully, it won’t be tooooooo much longer before I can claim an agent as well. When I do, I’ll know what to do because people like you and Maya have been there before me, letting the rest of us know what it’s like. (Oh, and all the agents that have blogs, as well.)
